80's Video Games

In the 1980's, arcade games were the sole pastime of millions of teenage boys and girls. The video computer system with interchangeable cartridges was introduced in 1977 by Atari, and by the beginning of the decade many were hooked. Pac man, an arcade game by Namco, quickly became the most popular and symbolic arcade game of the '80's.

Although he may have a different reputation now, Michael Jackson had the status of a small deity in the 80s. His performances on stage were mesmerizing and jaw-dropping, inspiring mimics of his moonwalk and single rhinestone white glove. He gathered a record eight Grammys and seven American Music Awards for his album Thriller.

Pop Culture in the 1980's

1980's movies were typified by the “high concept film.” These were films with plots that could be described in a few short sentences, such as E.T. (1982) or Top Gun (1986). Action films came into their own with The Terminator (1984), and Sylvester Stallone’s Rambo series. But it was the films for “thinking audiences” that won the Oscars, such as Chariots of Fire (1981) or Driving Miss Daisy (1989).

We also cater for Weddings, you want something different, not just the standard 'wedding DJ', then we have just the thing. With Up to Six TV Screens we are able to display Retro music videos from the 80's giving your wedding that extra unique touch.
